On November 21, 2023, within the framework of the "Modern Medicine in Regions" project, employees of RCMC conducted a series of joint surgical interventions at the base of the "Uzden Central District Hospital.

As part of the conducted master class, minimally invasive surgery for inguinal hernias was performed. During these surgical interventions, Yury Slobodin, Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery at the SI Republican Clinical Medical Center, acted as an assistant, while hospital staff served as operating surgeons. The operations addressed and dissected technical and tactical issues that may arise during surgical intervention. This will facilitate the implementation of this type of modern surgical treatment for inguinal hernias in the practice of the Central District Hospital.
