Therapeutic physical therapy for self-performance
Many of those with COVID-19 have already experienced problems with various organs and systems. These patients often feel short of breath because the lung tissue loses elasticity and oxygen enrichment decreases. To prevent irreversible changes in the lungs, you should try to involve the lung tissue as much as possible in the breathing process. It is important to remember: in the active phase of the disease lung tissue becomes very vulnerable, it is easy to cause additional injury - barotrauma of the lung. During this period, LFK exercises should be carried out less intensively, you can not inflate balloons, do forced breathing exercises. Specialists of our center prepared a simple set of breathing exercises, which can be performed independently at home during the disease. The exercises should be done carefully, without holding your breath for long, as this can aggravate respiratory failure. Everything should be aimed at deep breathing and, if possible, with the diaphragm (so-called belly breathing). It is necessary to try to fill the chest with air.
