On April 10, 2026, the republican scientific and practical conference with international participation "Challenges of Modern Diagnostics. Priorities of Molecular Genetic Diagnostics" is being held in Minsk for the first time. The conference organizers are the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

The conference is dedicated to the integration of molecular genetics technologies as the foundation of high-tech medicine into the practical healthcare system, and is aimed at improving the knowledge of practicing physicians in order to enhance the quality of medical care for patients. The emphasis is on predictiveness – preventing diseases based on genetic prognosis even before their first clinical signs appear.

For practicing physicians, a conference on this topic is being held in the Republic of Belarus for the first time, and the event has generated significant interest from the medical community. It is attended by laboratory physicians, general practitioners, infectious disease specialists, clinical pharmacologists, epidemiologists, clinicians, as well as leading scientists and specialists from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and the Italian Republic. An exhibition of molecular diagnostic products, pharmaceuticals, and specialized medical literature has been organized.

  The conference became an effective platform for developing cooperation: participants not only became familiar with innovative modern methods of molecular genetic diagnostics, its directions and prospects, but also explored the possibility of conducting joint research, exchanged experiences and scientific data to improve the efficiency of disease diagnosis, taking into account the principles of the modern healthcare concept – 5P Medicine.



Simultaneously with the conference, a practice-oriented educational master class "Molecular Genetic Research Methods in Bacteriology" was organized for laboratory physicians of bacteriological laboratories, aimed at improving the professional training of laboratory physicians in the field of modern molecular genetic diagnostic methods and mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance.

The feedback received from master class participants showed high interest in its practical part, as well as readiness to implement modern methods into their practical work, and the event itself became an excellent platform for experience exchange and strengthening professional ties.

The conference and master class represented a significant step towards innovations in molecular genetic diagnostics for their participants and paved the way for the further development of molecular genetics in medicine.
