On June 12, 2026, the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus hosted the republican scientific and practical conference with international participation "The Role and Place of Modern Technologies in Minor Proctology."

The organizers of the event were RCMC, the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, and the public association "Belarusian Society for Simulation Training in Medicine."

The conference gathered 150 surgeons and proctologists (from inpatient and outpatient settings) of city, regional and inter-district healthcare institutions, researchers and staff of specialized departments.

During the event, participants discussed promising directions for the development of minor proctology in the regions of the Republic of Belarus, current trends in the diagnosis and treatment of anal area pathology, as well as postgraduate education in endovideosurgery using simulation technologies. Special attention was paid to the use of laser and minimally invasive technologies in minor proctology.

The Deputy Chief Physician for Surgery of the RCMC Yuri Valerievich Slobodin, Candidate of Medical Sciences, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, noting in his remarks: "Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in the field of minor proctology should be accessible to all regions of the country, including inter-district centers and district hospitals. Patients from all regions of the Republic of Belarus should receive quality modern care, especially since such opportunities exist."

A master class in surgical operations for anal area pathology, broadcast live from the operating room in a "live surgery" format, provided conference participants with a unique opportunity to exchange experience and improve their professional skills.

At the exhibition organized within the framework of the conference, participants got acquainted with modern medical equipment and materials, as well as pharmaceuticals offered to specialists in this field.

The conference became a unique platform for establishing new professional contacts and exchanging experience among leading experts in the field of minor proctology, thereby ensuring a higher level of diagnosis and therapy for our patients. The knowledge gained and the agreements reached will contribute to improving the quality of medical care both at our Center and at other healthcare institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
