The IX Congress of Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists and Arrhythmologists of the Republic of Belarus, taking place in Minsk on April 9-10, 2026, is one of the main events of the year in the world of cardiovascular medicine. The organizers are the Ministry of Health, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology," and the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Presidential Administration.

The medical forum brought together over 500 specialists from across the country and foreign experts. The focus is on the implementation of high-tech methods that until recently were considered science fiction, but today have become routine practice. The main topics are early diagnosis of heart diseases and new treatment methods. Participants are discussing issues related to the organization of medical care and cardiovascular imaging. Within the framework of the congress, 24 sections are being held on current issues of cardiology, cardiac surgery, interventional radiology, arrhythmology, imaging, as well as practical master classes.

With a systemic report on comprehensive risk assessment in cardiology, the Chief Physician of RCMC, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Belarus Irina Stepanovna Abelskaya spoke at the opening of the congress.

RCMC specialists took part in the congress within various sections with reports on cardiac surgery, interventional radiology treatment, laboratory diagnostics, pathomorphology, and others.

Congress participants exchanged experiences and familiarized themselves with the most important achievements in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, new technologies and innovations in the field of cardiology. Thematic symposia discussed current issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of circulatory system diseases from the perspective of world experience and evidence-based medicine.
