On May 5, 2025, the International Day for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development, Chief Doctor of the State Institution “Republican Clinical Medical Center” of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus Irina Abelskaya visited the State Institution “Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Frunzensky District of Minsk” Department of Social Rehabilitation and Habilitation of Disabled Persons No. 2.

On the initiative of Irina Stepanovna, a charity event was held to help people with disabilities. The employees of the state institution “Republican Clinical Medical Center” of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus took an active part in the charity event and collected personal hygiene products for the children of the territorial center.

The residents of the social center were given a muffle furnace, which is actively used for making clay products. Group work with clay promotes socialization and development of skills of interaction with other people, which is an important aspect of rehabilitation. At the moment the workshop is attended by 26 out of 35 people registered in the territorial center.

Problematic issues in the organization of everyday life and rehabilitation of their inmates were discussed with the administration of the territorial center. Issues of long-term cooperation were discussed.
