On May 16, 2025, Minsk hosted the final of the first interdepartmental republican Olympiad “First Aid” for 10th grade students. The event was held at the Republican Center for Professional Certification and Simulation Training of Medical and Pharmaceutical Workers of the Belarusian State Medical University.

The organizers of the Olympiad were the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Belarusian Society of Simulation Training in Medicine and the Republican Clinical Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus.

The final stage was attended by 40 teams from all regions of the country. The participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in theoretical and practical rounds, including first aid for various emergency conditions.

The Olympiad was an important step in popularizing first aid training among young people and identifying talented students interested in the medical profession.
