The program is practice-oriented, its practical module (13 hours) is dedicated to mastering hands-on skills with the use of a modern simulator.

The ultrasonic simulator’s database contains over 200 clinical cases and more than 500 images. The ultrasonic diagnostic data were obtained from real patients.

The Shell ultrasonic simulator assists ultrasonic and functional diagnostics specialists in acquiring individual hands-on skills of transesophageal ultrasonic examination of the heart, and allows them to familiarize themselves with a number of practical examples that include some rare clinical cases.

Practicing physicians are enabled to compare their acquired individual skills (reflected as images generated by them) with reference images of the simulator.
