The Atlas is the result of clinical experience accumulated by the authors in the application of novel techniques of X-ray mammography: contrast enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) and tomosynthesis (DBT). The Atlas presents normal X-ray images of mammal glands at different ages, changes due to dishormonal conditions and images of benign and malignant tumors. The Atlas also presents characteristics of dominant and indirect indicators of mammal gland cancer, international standards of image assessment and mammogrpahic screening policies.

The publication is intended for radiologists, carcinologists, mammologists and ultrasonic diagnostic specialists.
