Benefits of the Amadeo exerciser
The exercise machine is intended for patients affected by impairments of fine motor skills of upper limb distal segments. The exerciser is currently the only mechanized device which enables the recovery of active finger movements (including the thumb). The device makes it possible to exercise either all of the fingers, or each finder independently.
Depending on the patient’s capacities and indications, both active and passive modes may be used. The machine enables an objective assessment of the isometric force, movement range, presence of spasms; it may be adjusted to accommodate for individual particularities of the patient, and allows the evaluation of the progress of conducted therapy.
All the collected data are stored in a database, which makes it possible to maintain comprehensive records and perform graphical analysis which reflects the therapeutic process in an integrated manner.
The specialized software of the Amadeo exerciser features play-based goal-directed objectives that help to focus the patient’s attention and improve their motivation.
