SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INTRAUTERINE PATHOLOGIES AT THE RCMC
Uterine scar. A hysteroscopic assessment of uterine scar disruption is the basis for determining subsequent tactics of patient surgery and making the decision on the advisability of surgical intervention.
Uterine synechias. partition of uterine synechias with the use of mechanical and electrical energy under visual hysteroscopic control is an essential stage of multicomponent therapy.
Excision of uterine synechias and foreign bodies is carried out with forceps that are introduced through the surgical passage of the hysteroscope.
In cases of chronic endometritis we offer immunohistochemistry analysis (IA) services. This is a unique comprehensive study of endometrium which allows to perform a comprehensive analysis and diagnose multiple pathologies. IA involves both histological studies and immunobiological analyses. The former allow to study tissues, the latter -- to identify disease agents and antibodies. The examination makes it possible to reveal the occurrence of cells that prevent the woman from conceiving a child. The number of such cells is also estimated during the procedure. The analysis also enables assessment of the endometrium receptor sensitivity to natural hormonal stimulation during the ovulation period, as well as during the period of active hormonal therapy preceding extracorporal fertilization.
