SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INTESTINAL DISORDERS AT THE RCMC

The Center possesses unique experience of operative of malignant and benign intestinal pathologies with the use of laparoscopic techniques. Our Center is also the first in Belarus to perform laparoscopic operations on the intestines with the assistance of a robotic surgeon.

Presently, our Department performs a comprehensive scope of laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery procedures to treat cancerous diseases of middle intestine (of any localization), and on the rectosigmoid section and rectum that may involve the required scope of lymph node dissection. In certain cases (familial polyposis), we perform (either laparoscopically or with the assistance of the robotic surgeon) total colectomy with concurrent reconstruction of natural intestinal passage (without the need to form a permanent colic stoma).

Our specialists have extensive experience of ileostomy and colostomy closure either by laparoscopic operations or with the assistance of the robotic surgeon.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• general grave condition of the patient;
• patient is in coma;
• heart, kidney and respiratory organ pathologies;
• inoperable tumor.

HOW TO GET SURGICAL TREATMENT AT THE RCMC

Hospitalization of patients is based on surgeon’s referral after a consultation with the Head of the Surgical department.

If there is surgeon’s referral, you need:

1. Call the Contact Center to make an appointment with the head of the Surgical department
2. Come to the consultation on time.
3. Conclude a contract for the provision of paid services at the registry on the day of hospitalization.
4. Pay the invoice at the cash desk of the RCMC or via ЕРИП (SSIS: Single Settlement and Information Space)
